Not good news I'm afraid... the temperature in the lake is going down rather than up with all this rain :0( It was 10dgrs yesterday, I even checked the thermometer was working by sticking it in warm water!!Therefore swimming isn't going to start on Tuesday... It will be checked again next weeke...

Hi Suzie,McVicar and I were supposed to be doing the Brian Robinson tomorrow but the organisers are already warning the route maybe cut short or even cancelled if the weather is really bad... So we'vre decided it's not worth the risk of heading over to Huddersfield for it not to be on so we are ...

Hi Laurence,I spoke to Gary who owns the Baildon Reservoirs a couple of weeks ago and it's not great news I'm afraid. Gary has had an awful lot of trouble from the residents of Baildon and the local council and he was left with no alternative but to fill in the two reservoirs that he had knocked...

We are planning to begin the Open Water Swim season at Otley Sailing Club on Tuesday 8th May, as with previous seasons the clubs sessions will be Tuesday evenings 7pm – 8pm and Saturday mornings 8am – 9am.We’re just waiting to hear back from the Sailing Club for approval of our proposal as to how...
