As communicated earlier in the year, this year's Christmas ride will take place on Sunday, 11th December.

Location: Busfield Arms, East Morton, BD20 5SP

When: 11th December, meet at 09:15, set off no later than 09:30

Cost: £7.95 to cover your main course (exlcudes drinks and dessert)

Due to the problems related to weather conditions last year, we've decided to alter the format this year. The intention is to provide a MTB ride for all, with a shorter route and a longer route option around Bingley and Wilsden. This is our preference, and should reduce the likelihood that we are forced to cancel. If the demand is there, we will also put on a road ride (weather conditions permitting). Please post here if you would prefer to ride on the road.

If anyone doesn't have a MTB to hand, we could probably get hold of one or two for the day - post your name here if you require one, first come, first served, and we'll seee what we can sort out. As with all LBT rides, no helmet = no ride!

As per last year, the plan is to ride first, then eat / drink afterwards. We have booked the Busfield Arms in East Morton from 12.00pm - you will not be allowed in if you are muddy so please bring a change of clothes.

You can book in advance using our club booking system and payment is via Paypal:

http://www.lbt.org.uk/sessionbooking/...

The cost is £7.95 to cover your main course. If you require a dessert, this can be ordered on the day at your own cost. To make it easier for the pub, we have made a selection from their menu of popular meal choices which will need to be pre-ordered.

The choices available are:

- Homemade Steak & Ale pie with Seasonal Vegetables and Chips

- Chef's homemade 8oz beefburger, with smoked bacon, mozzarella cheese and chips

- Ovenbaked rich beef lasagne with garlic bread and chips

- Mushroon and asparagus risotto, with garlic bread and parmesan shavings (V)

- Beer-battered haddock, mushy peas, lemon wedges and chips

When booking using the link above, please enter your meal choice in the "Comments" box. The booking system will close no later than 5pm, Sunday 4th December. If you plan to ride and don't want to eat, you don't need to pay so please don't use the booking system, but post your name here.

Hi Andrew

Is there any chance of providing more details of the proposed routes?

Matt

I hope this link works.

This is the route I was planning, It may be extended to include Baildon moor depending on time and weather conditions, it can also be shortened for those who are less experienced at off road riding.

Hi Andrew

Great circuit, hardly any road. It's a route that I do several times a year (usually anticlockwise) as I live within 400m of it.
